Join Alan Cross at 11 am for a 3 mile walk on level paths from Haslam Park. Meet at the park car park, Bristow Ave, Ashton-on-Ribble. PR2 1JE, Cafe/toilets halfway round and at the end.

Friday 26th

Join Daphne for an afternoon tea at Blackpool Tower Ballroom at 1.50 for 2 pm. Entrance by ticket only. £20. No refunds for cancellations. Names and payment to Daphne by the April meeting please.

Sunday 28th (Unhosted)

Join us for an afternoon of musical entertainment by John Bowdler at The Venue, Hoole Village Memorial Hall, Much Hoole, PR4 4QA at 2 pm £7.50 including refreshments.

Tuesday 30th

Join us on our own coach trip with Brethertons for a day out in Keswick. After a stop on route you can choose to be dropped off in town (for museums, shopping etc) or at the Lakeside for the Theatre art gallery and cafe, boat trips and walks to Friar's Crag etc. At 4 pm. we will be picked up and driven to a fish and chip restaurant for a meal before the drive home. Cost for coach £30. (This trip is dependent on a minimum of 20 people to cover the cost of the coach. If more people sign up we may be able to give a refund., Please sign up by 8th April. If we have the minimum number, we will confirm the booking)

Sunday 2ndf

Join us at Blackp;ool Grand Theatre for a performance of "Count Arthur Strong....And it's Good Night From Him" on his farewell tour. Tickets are selling fast so please sign up at April meeting. Tickets price £26.50. Meet in the foyer at 7.45 pm for 8 pm.

Monday 3rd

Our monthly meeting today is at Leyland Golf Club, Wigan Road, Leyland PR25 5UD. Today we will have a talk entitled "the Red Box" by Nigel Linge. 2 pm start. £5.50 including refreshments.

Monday 10th

Join us for a Walton's coach trip to visit Kirkby Stephen and (in case you need to test your eyesight) Barnard Castle. Cost £24. There are several pick-up points which we will negotiate with Walton's once we know numbers. Please sign up by the May meeting at the latest, indicating where you would like a pick-up, eg. Penwortham, Lostock Hall, Bamber Bridge, Leyland etc. Waltons will try to meet our needs. At the June meeting we will collect the money and confirm pickup locations and times.
